Anderson Knight is delighted to be supporting a well-established accountancy practice with the appointment of an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team based in Stirling. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and high-performing payroll team within a leading, client-focused payroll bureau. Bureau experience is a must for this role.

Due to continued growth, our confidential client is seeking a Payroll professional with a proven track record in high-volume processing, who thrives in a fast-paced and service-led environment. The role will be mainly office based with the option of 1 or 2 days remote after probation as well as a competitive salary of £28-30,000 and an excellent pension scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage end-to-end payroll processing across a varied client portfolio.

* Deliver a high standard of customer service, acting as a key point of contact for client payroll queries.

* Ensure compliance with current payroll legislation, including SSP, SMP, and HMRC processes.

* Liaise directly with clients to ensure accurate and timely payroll submissions.

* Support multi-frequency payrolls and maintain accurate payroll records.

Candidate Profile:

We’re looking to speak with payroll professionals who bring:

* A minimum of 1 year experience in a payroll processing role.

* Solid understanding of UK payroll legislation and processes.

* Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

* Experience with payroll systems such as Sage and BrightPay.

* A payroll or finance-related qualification (or equivalent hands-on experience).

* Experience managing multi-frequency payrolls is advantageous.
