This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected practice where you will be given autonomy in your role and the chance to work on varied and interesting secured lending files.Working closely with the Head of Lending Services and a supervising solicitor, you will support lender clients on a range of quasi-commercial property-backed transactions, including buy-to-let and portfolio mortgage securities .Key Responsibilities Manage your own caseload of lender files involving limited company and portfolio buy-to-let lending.Examine and report on Scottish property titles in line with lender requirements and applicable guidance.Identify and escalate any title, transactional, or legal issues where required.Prepare and check standard security documents and related deeds.Liaise professionally with borrower solicitors, lenders, and third-party stakeholders.Ensure all pre-settlement conditions are met and manage the completion, settlement, and registration process.Maintain accurate case records and ensure full compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.About You Registered Paralegal with the Law Society of Scotland.Strong experience in Scottish property law and conveyancing.Confident reviewing titles and drafting security documentation.Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficient with case management systems and Microsoft Office.What\βs in it for You?
