Anderson Knight is recruiting an Administrator for a well‑established company based in Hillington. The role plays a key part in maintaining compliance with stock control procedures, health and safety regulations, and client‑specific systems, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the service delivery function.
Working hours: 08:30‑16:30, Monday to Friday. Salary: £24,968.
Key Responsibilities- Use of Excel – pivot tables, CONCATENATE and perform VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP or YLOOKUP.
- Comply with statutory, company and regulatory H&S rules and regulations.
- Ensure correct PPE is worn/used when required, in accordance with company requirements.
- Escalate issues that cannot be resolved locally to the next in line or H&S Manager.
- Ensure all required H&S paperwork is signed and completed per job requirements.
- Liaise with the H&S Manager as needed.
- Resolve supplier invoice queries in a timely manner.
- Implement controls to identify outstanding purchase orders.
- Understand the varied requirements for Service clients’ accounting.
- Maintain regular, effective communication with engineers, suppliers, sub‑contractors, supervisors and management to support SLA compliance.
- Compile and update progress/status reports for clients or their systems.
- Identify and ensure correct product coding for reporting/analysis.
- Ensure all supporting documentation is scanned and filed.
- Record legislative documentation to meet client/company standards.
- Proficient in administration, particularly in Excel and Microsoft packages.
- Previous experience in customer service.
- Strong collaborative teamwork skills.
- Effective multitasking ability and composure under pressure.
- Preferred, though not essential: background in the service industry.
- Ability to build strong rapport with customers and team members.
