Anderson Knight has an excellent new opportunity for a FM Project Manager to manage a key project which will deliver against our clients Facilities Management (FM) and Procurement Objectives in line with agreed project plans and timescales, meeting key milestones and deadlines, implementing project governance and project management principles and managing all internal and external stakeholders involved in the project.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Embed the organisational values of Respect, Honesty, Responsibility and Achieving Excellence in everything you do.
- Take ownership and management of the project working with the Group Head of Estates and key stakeholders, internally across the group, and externally with strategic partners and contractors.
- Act as point of contact for project related questions and escalations across the group.
- Provide effective governance for the project including where appropriate, tracking against project budgets, key performance objectives, risk management, monitoring progress against project timescales and key deliverables.
- Set up, manage and provide administrative support and governance to the main project board, ensuring representation and input from key departments across the group.
- Develop and implement escalation protocols to address emerging or urgent issues impacting on the project deliverables.
- Work with external strategic partners and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of the project within agreed timescales and budgets.
- Build effective relationships internally by working cross functionally and collaboratively.
- Engage with a range of existing and new external partners and stakeholders, ensuring full commitment of partners and stakeholders to the project outcomes.

Qualifications:
- Relevant project management qualification such as Prince II.
Experience:
- Experience of leading complex projects in a diverse and challenging environment.
- Experience of delivering successful projects within estates, facilities management or procurement services.
- Experience of dealing with social housing partners, particularly commercial leases and management agreements.
- Experience of working with and managing a range of external goods and service suppliers/contractors.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Proven ability and track record in leading on large complex projects.
- Excellent communicator at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to record details accurately.
- A good all-round knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Able to prioritise competing demands and work flexibly.
- A common sense, flexible and pragmatic approach to problem solving and decision making.
