Multi Skilled Maintenace Engineer

Anderson Knight has an Excellent opportunity with our client for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

The role is to provide support for the production lines & carry out asset care tasks to a high standard, ensuring that safety, quality, & output targets are achieved (This is a day shift role Monday to Friday)

Duties 

• Provide line support

• Carry out reactive maintenance & corrective maintenance as required. 

• Support changeovers in areas where engineering expertise is needed. 

• Carry out asset care tasks on production equipment as directed. 

• Drive continuous improvement through: 

• Identify & implement line improvement project. 

• Support production improvement projects as required. 

• Support site BRC compliance activities 

About You

 Time served Engineer with recognised trade qualification in relevant engineering discipline. 

• Detailed engineering knowledge of all aspects of equipment utilised in services, filling, packing and palletisation. 

• Computer literate 

• Knowledge of continuous improvement tools 

• Understanding of the contribution Engineering can make to the achievement of Manufacturing KPI’s 

• Working knowledge of best practice asset care principles 

• Strong fault-finding experience 

• Experience in performing changeovers. Experience working within time critical production. 

• FMCG experience would be desirable
