Key Responsibilities
- Managing customer credit accounts, including monitoring balances, chasing overdue payments and helping reduce debtor days.
- Maintaining and reconciling the Sales Ledger to ensure all customer transactions are accurate and up to date.
- Processing and posting financial entries into the General Ledger in a timely and accurate manner.
- Producing regular reports on debtors, cash collection and customer account performance to support business decision‑making.
- Assisting with commercial tasks such as pricing, customer queries, order administration and general commercial support.
- Working collaboratively with internal teams to resolve account issues and improve processes across the business.
Qualifications & Skills
- HNC‑level qualification in a finance discipline or equivalent hands‑on experience.
- Confident, diplomatic communicator with strong analytical ability.
- Experienced user of Excel, Outlook and SAP.
- Highly organised, detail‑focused and able to manage competing priorities.
- Supportive team player who can work independently and meet deadlines.
Desired Additional Skills
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with colleagues and customers at all levels.
- Good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, Excel & SAP is essential.
- Well‑organised with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage your own workload while supporting the wider team.
