Anderson Knight is delighted to be partnering our client, a Leading Nationwide Infrastructure/Utilities Business who partner with major energy suppliers and utility constructors to some of the UK’s most Iconic Brands. They are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager. Experience within the sector is preferable, especially with Industrial and Commercial projects but not essential. Our client is keen to find the right person with a well-established sales background who is willing to take their skills and experience into one of the most exciting industries in the UK. The role will be to drive business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s customer base. Location will be in and around the South East of England.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities (markets, clients, partnerships)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans
- Generate leads and convert them into long-term customers
- Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor activity
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and pitches
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams
- Track performance metrics and report on revenue growth
- Attend networking events, conferences, and meetings
