Anderson Knight is recruiting an L&D Manager on behalf of a dynamic organisation looking to elevate and strengthen its established Learning & Development function. This role is critical in shaping the organisation\’s approach to people development, ensuring colleagues have access to high-quality learning opportunities that drive performance, capability, and career growth.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic L&D leader to shape development strategy, embed best-practice frameworks, and lead a talented L&D team in delivering impactful, innovative learning solutions across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic L&D Leadership: Lead and evolve the Learning & Development function, aligning strategy with organisational priorities and future workforce needs
- Strategic L&D Leadership: Develop and implement a structured people development framework, embedding best-practice across all teams
- Strategic L&D Leadership: Drive a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and career progression
- Learning & Development Delivery: Design and deliver innovative, bespoke development interventions that strengthen capability and enhance retention
- Learning & Development Delivery: Lead the design and delivery of high-quality induction and onboarding programmes
- Learning & Development Delivery: Facilitate workshops, masterclasses, and blended learning solutions both virtually and in-person
- Data-Driven People Development: Use talent, performance, and workforce data to inform skills strategies, succession planning, and organisational capability building
- Data-Driven People Development: Monitor, evaluate, and report on the impact and ROI of learning and development initiatives
- Stakeholder Management & Influence: Partner with leaders and managers to identify learning needs and provide coaching, guidance, and practical tools
- Stakeholder Management & Influence: Build strong, influential relationships across the organisation to embed consistent, effective L&D practices
- Stakeholder Management & Influence: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver best-in-class learning solutions

Skills & Experience Required
- Significant experience leading a Learning & Development or Organisational Development function
- Professional L&D qualification (e.g., CIPD)

- Proven ability to design and deliver development strategies
- Experience using data to inform workforce and skills planning
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Budget management and experience evaluating L&D impact
- Proficiency with learning management systems and digital learning tools
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
