We are working with a well-established organisation that is now entering an important period of organisational restructuring. As a result, we are looking for a highly organised and dependable HR Assistant to join the team and provide critical support during this transition, for a fixed term period of 6 months. This is a key administrative role within the HR function, with a strong focus on redundancy and consultation processes. The successful candidate will work closely with HR Advisors and Managers to ensure processes are followed accurately, professionally, and sensitively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and issue formal HR correspondence, including redundancy and consultation letters.
  • Schedule consultation meetings and coordinate diaries for HR and line managers.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee communications and consultation outcomes.
  • Provide administrative support throughout redundancy and restructuring processes, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and employment legislation.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Assist with other general HR administrative tasks as required.

About You

  • Previous experience in an HR support role, ideally within a restructuring or change management context.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
  • Organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Comfortable handling sensitive information with confidentiality and empathy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using HR systems.
