As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting financial reports, delivering insightful analysis to senior management and producing forecasts that support informed decision-making and drive continuous improvement across internal processes.
The main duties of this role include:
- Analysing financial data and trends to provide valuable insight into business performance.
- Preparing management accounts, reports and dashboards to support senior management.
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and monitoring income and expenditure.
- Producing variance analysis and explaining key movements against budget and forecast.
- Supporting senior management by providing financial information to aid business decision-making.
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting.
- Monitoring key financial and operational KPIs, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
- Working closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Providing ad hoc financial analysis and support as required.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Part Qualified ACCA or CIMA / Qualified by Experience
- Experience working in the Manufacturing sector is advantageous
- Strong IT Skills in Excel and experience with systems such as Sage, Xero or Oracle
- Possessing both strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently if required
- Ability to work in a fast paced, professional environment
- Confidence in analysing and deconstructing data
