Anderson Knight is recruiting a Service Administrator on behalf of our client.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator to join a busy service team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting engineering operations, maintaining accurate records, updating client systems and reports, and ensuring service activities are completed in line with client requirements and service level agreements.
The role would suit an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys working closely with engineers, clients and internal teams.
Location: Hillington
Salary: £25,592 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30am – 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across engineering and service management functions.
- Monitor and update client and internal systems, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
- Support the completion and administration of engineering works through to financial closure.
- Liaise regularly with engineers to ensure works are completed within agreed client SLAs.
- Raise and process subcontractor orders and monitor outstanding purchase orders and unissued parts.
- Assist with the coordination of engineering resources, including holiday planning and workforce allocation.
- Produce and maintain progress, status and performance reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage and administer planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and case management processes.
- Process engineer timesheets, expenses, day sheets and other related documentation.
- Ensure all additional works are identified and managed in line with contractual requirements.
- Maintain legislative and compliance documentation in accordance with company and client requirements.
- Support document management processes, including scanning, filing and record retention.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Excel and be confident working with data and reporting.
About You
- Previous experience in an administration, service coordination or helpdesk environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with engineers, clients and colleagues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
