We’re partnering with a well-established organisation based in Renfrewshire to recruit an experienced HR Adviser to join a busy and collaborative HR team on an interim basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR generalist who enjoys variety, autonomy, and building strong relationships across the business.

The Role
As HR Adviser, you’ll provide proactive and practical HR support across multiple areas including employee relations, recruitment, absence management, and day-to-day advisory support.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied ER caseload including investigations, disciplinary, grievance and absence matters
- Supporting and advising managers on HR policies, procedures and best practice
- Coordinating and supporting high-volume recruitment activity, including assessment centres and interviews
- Managing general HR queries across the business
- Supporting onboarding and employee lifecycle processes
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across departments
- Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
We’re looking for a proactive and organised HR professional who can work autonomously while remaining collaborative and approachable.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a broad HR Adviser/generalist role
- Experience handling employee relations casework independently
- Exposure to high-volume recruitment and assessment centre coordination
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload
- A practical, solutions-focused approach
- CIPD qualification or working towards this would be advantageous
