Anderson Knight are partnering our client who are a UK wide Service and Facilities provider based in Glasgow who are looking to appoint an Internal Auditor (QSHE) on a 6 months interim basis. The Internal Auditor supports the effective delivery of the organisation’s Quality, Safety, Health, Environmental and Compliance (QSHE) objectives by contributing to internal audit activities, compliance monitoring, and improvement actions. Reporting to the Business Improvement Officer; working closely with the Head of BI & Safety and Business Improvement function, the role helps maintain audit readiness, strengthens compliance culture, and supports the continual improvement of our certified management systems and future ISO accreditations.
Duties:
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and conducting internal audits across regions.
- Support evidence gathering, documentation reviews, audit interviews, verification checks and audit reporting.
- Help track non-conformities and corrective actions, ensuring timely follow up and closure.
- Support readiness for external audits, client audits and certification assessments.
- Support with statistical analysis of internal and external audit performance to support consistency and efficacy of audit programmes.
- Carry out routine compliance checks and report findings to the Head of BI & Safety.
- Support the transition toward additional standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 22301 and ISO 42001.
