Anderson Knight is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading international FMCG organisation for a Customer Supply Chain Manager based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional to lead a high-performing team responsible for customer order fulfilment, logistics execution, shipping and export documentation. You will play a key role in ensuring customer commitments are delivered on time and in full, while balancing service excellence, operational efficiency and cost control.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading, coaching and developing a team responsible for order fulfilment, shipping and export documentation
- Managing the end-to-end order-to-shipment process, ensuring accuracy, compliance and on-time delivery
- Coordinating with internal teams and logistics partners to support customer and market requirements
- Monitoring operational performance through KPIs and service level metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Managing export and customs documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Supporting inventory deployment, cost control and working capital objectives
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service, efficiency and operational performance
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a supply chain, logistics or customer operations management role
- Strong people management experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams
- Knowledge of shipping, export processes and customs documentation
- Experience working within FMCG, manufacturing or a similar fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience using ERP and supply chain management systems
