Anderson Knight is delighted to be recruiting a Banking and Treasury Assistant on behalf of a well-established client based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong banking and reconciliation experience to join a growing and supportive finance team.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Banking and Treasury Assistant will play a key role in managing day-to-day banking activities, ensuring accurate cash processing, reconciliations, and strong financial controls across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing daily banking transactions, including receipts, payments, and inter-account transfers
- Preparing and uploading payment runs in line with internal approval controls
- Performing regular bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
- Monitoring bank balances and supporting cash flow management
- Liaising with banking partners regarding account administration, mandates, and queries
- Assisting with treasury-related activities such as deposits, funding arrangements, and cash reporting
- Maintaining accurate banking records and audit trails
- Supporting month-end and year-end finance processes
- Assisting with internal and external audit requests
- Providing general finance support and contributing to process improvements
