Anderson Knight are delighted to be working with a global infrastructure business to support recruitment into their central finance function. We’re seeking a skilled Group Accountant to manage financial consolidation, reporting, and performance across the group. This role ensures accurate, compliant, and timely consolidated financial information while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and audits. You’ll work closely with the Accounting Team to maintain consistency, monitor intercompany transactions, and improve financial systems and reporting processes. This role will also involve a lot of senior stakeholder engagement, working closely with director level across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements (UK GAAP).
  • Manage intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and foreign currency adjustments.
  • Support the development of group-wide financial reporting processes.
  • Assist with annual statutory accounts and liaise with auditors for year-end audits.
  • Provide financial analysis and commentary for senior leadership.
  • Review subsidiary submissions for accuracy and maintain internal controls.
  • Contribute to process improvement and finance transformation initiatives.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CA, CIMA).
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and group consolidation.
  • Experience in a multi-currency or large group environment.
  • Advanced Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Agresso, Sage).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
