Anderson Knight are delighted to be supporting our established public sector client in Edinburgh who are looking to add a Finance Business Partner to their successful, established Finance function. This is a 9 month fixed term contract.
Reporting to Senior Leadership, key duties will include:
- Responsible for helping drive profitability within individual business units.
- Production of management accounts, ensuring the integrity of financial data and performing detailed variance analysis.
- Identifying and reporting all risks and opportunities.
- Lead the preparation and compilation of budgets and forecasts.
- Develop strong links with different sections of the business dealing with any queries and providing financial accounting support to the business.
- Provide detailed analysis which facilitates effective strategic decision making within the business.
This list is not exhaustive and there will also be exposure and opportunity to undertake other adhoc tasks and project work.
The main candidate will be fully qualified who can demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and Heads Of across the business. To succeed in this role you will thrive in a fast paced environment and you will possess excellent analytical and financial modelling skills, being able to interpret data from external sources and collaborate into strategic plans with clear goals.
