Anderson Knight are pleased to be exclusively engaged with our key client in their appointment of a new Finance Business Partner. This role will be key in driving excellence and innovation in their financial practices, strategically shaping overall Finance performance.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role will play a critical part in decision making, partnering with Senior Management and key stakeholders to support key business units and deliver long term goals in a thriving, constantly evolving sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior managers and their teams to provide valuable insights and advice that align with business objectives and enhance financial performance.
- Oversee long-term business planning, annual budgeting, and rolling forecasting processes to ensure alignment with group strategy.
- Generate monthly management accounts and deliver high-quality financial information that empowers leaders to make strategic business decisions.
- Develop and implement a robust performance management system, setting and monitoring financial targets to drive the achievement of business goals.
- Establish early warning systems to identify financial deviations, ensuring a balanced financial flow between inflows and outflows.
- Play a crucial role in external and internal audit processes, providing essential financial insights and timely responses.
- Adhoc tasks as and when required.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Fully Qualified Accountant
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a strategic partnership role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence decision-making.
