Anderson Knight is delighted to be partnering with a leading infrastructure organisation to recruit an experienced HSQE Advisor. This is a hybrid role, supporting projects across the Central Belt, covering the area from Falkirk through to Perth.

Our client is a privately owned, award-winning infrastructure company with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the public, private, and third sectors. Their strong track record of completing work on time, on budget, and with a strong safety focus has resulted in long-standing relationships and regular repeat business. They offer a collaborative culture, professional development opportunities, and the chance to be part of a dedicated and highly skilled team.

As a Regional HSQE Advisor, you will play a vital role in promoting and maintaining the highest standards of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental compliance across a range of projects. You will provide hands‑on support to site teams, ensuring safe working practices and adherence to regulatory requirements. In this key position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the HSQE Lead in driving a positive and proactive HSQE culture across all sites.
  • Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on HSQE performance and compliance.
  • Conducting thorough accident and incident investigations and ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.
  • Providing clear guidance to project teams to enhance safety awareness and operational best practice.
  • Identifying risks and recommending improvements to continuously strengthen HSQE standards.

We are seeking a motivated professional who can confidently influence, advise, and support site teams. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NEBOSH Diploma (essential).
  • Proven experience in a similar HSQE role, ideally within construction or infrastructure environments.
  • Strong background in accident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to build rapport with Site Managers and team members, promoting a positive safety culture.
  • Excellent IT abilities and strong reporting skills.
  • Clear and confident communication skills at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently with sound judgement and initiative.
  • A proactive mindset, capable of anticipating future risk based on work pipelines.
  • High levels of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
  • Experience delivering training, toolbox talks, or educational HSQE initiatives.

If you’re a forward-thinking HSQE professional looking to join a successful and respected organisation, we would love to hear from you.
