Anderson Knight is delighted to be supporting a leading financial services provider in the recruitment of a Customer Support Advisor to join their growing team in Finnieston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in financial services, customer support, or regulated environments who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused role. Location: Finnieston, Glasgow (Hybrid) Salary: Β£23,000 (Pro rata) Hours: 14 hours per week (Wednesday 5pm-8pm, Friday 4pm-8pm, Sunday 9am-5pm) Key Responsibilities: β€’ Provide outstanding customer service across multiple communication channels. β€’ Manage and process daily customer support tasks within agreed timelines. β€’ Handle direct debit collections, issue welcome packs, and send regulatory statements. β€’ Accurately update customer records and process settlement quotes in line with team KPIs. β€’ Manage queries and complaints promptly, ensuring resolution in line with company procedures. β€’ Comply with FCA regulations relating to early terminations, cancellations, and vehicle finance processes. β€’ Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all customer communications and actions taken. β€’ Submit credit reference agency files and daily asset registration data to relevant parties. β€’ Protect customer data and ensure all activity aligns with GDPR requirements. β€’ Support reporting and data tracking efforts to identify trends and opportunities for service improvement. Requirements: β€’ Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer service or administrative role, ideally within financial services. β€’ Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., Consumer Credit Act). β€’ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office – particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. β€’ Strong attention to detail and a solution-focused approach. β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills. β€’ A team player with a positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude.
