Anderson Knight are looking for a Conveyancing Paralegal to join a legal firm in South Lanarkshire. Candidates must have experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal. 5 days fully onsite, 9am – 5pm, early finish Fridays!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the management of property transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Draft, review, and amend legal documents, including contracts, transfer forms, and deeds.
- Communicate with clients, estate agents, and third parties to gather necessary information and resolve issues.
- Conduct property searches and due diligence.
- Assist with preparing and submitting documents for registration with the Land Registry.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Liaise with fee earners to ensure deadlines are met and tasks are completed efficiently.
- Provide general administrative support to the conveyancing team as needed.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal or in a similar legal support role.
- Solid understanding of residential and/or commercial property law.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with conveyancing software.
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
