Anderson Knight Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst on behalf of one of our key clients, a major player in the hospitality industry.
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join a dynamic team and make a significant impact on the company’s commercial success.
As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic financial insights, supporting decision-making, and driving profitability within the business. You will work closely with various departments, including operations, sales, and senior management, to deliver accurate financial analysis and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Provide insightful commercial insights to support business decision-making.
- Partner with operational teams to analyse performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and business initiatives.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, offering clear recommendations based on analysis.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends to drive business improvements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
Key Requirements:
- Part Qualified ACCA / CIMA
- Proven experience in a similar commercial finance role, ideally within the hospitality industry or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
