Anderson Knight is excited to be recruiting a Compliance Assistant for a leading company committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. This pivotal role will contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of the company’s Safety Management System, supporting key initiatives like ISO standards, business continuity planning, GDPR compliance, and health and safety efforts. This is a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC), offering the opportunity to play a crucial role in driving company-wide compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of electronic quality and safety management systems, ensuring continuous improvement and delivering engaging staff training.
- Drive the implementation of change management processes, including overseeing document control systems and procedures.
- Provide valuable internal audit support across multiple business units, ensuring smooth operations.
- Prepare and analyse compliance reports for management review, focusing on ISO standards and key performance metrics.
- Produce compliance statistics to align with ISO requirements and broader business reporting goals.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining company archives and document storage systems.
- Support the development and implementation of business continuity plans, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.
- Help prepare internal communications, delivering essential updates on safety, security, and compliance matters.
- Assist in accident and incident investigations, ensuring timely follow-up actions are completed and well-documented.
- Deliver employee inductions and provide ongoing compliance-related training as needed.
- Undertake occasional business travel as required to support operations.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in quality assurance, quality management, or internal auditing.
- A solid understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, with a track record of achieving performance targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant applications.
