Anderson Knight is delighted to be partnering with a leading multi-utility business as they look to appoint a Senior Multi-Utility Project Manager. This role will be based in the Lancashire area and will support ongoing contracts across the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with drawings, specifications, and project programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Health, Safety & Environment
- Ensure full compliance with company and statutory HSE standards.
- Carry out regular site inspections, toolbox talks, and comprehensive risk assessments.
- Promote and maintain a positive, proactive safety culture across all project teams.
- Quality Assurance
- Maintain robust quality control procedures to ensure all works meet required design and technical standards.
- Manage inspection and test plans (ITPs), quality assurance processes, and handover documentation.
- Programme & Progress Management
- Monitor daily and weekly site progress, providing regular updates to the Project Manager.
- Identify potential risks, delays, or issues and implement corrective actions to keep the programme on track.
- Subcontractor & Labour Coordination
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors and direct labour teams to ensure smooth and efficient site operations.
- Review and approve daily worksheets, RAMS, and all relevant site records.
- Materials & Equipment Management
- Oversee procurement, delivery, and allocation of materials, plant, and equipment.
- Ensure proper use, safe storage, and ongoing maintenance of all site equipment.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Attend regular site and project meetings, providing clear progress reports and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Site Engineer within civil engineering, utilities, or mechanical construction.
- Strong knowledge of street works and multi-utility installations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and deliver complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
- CSCS Black or Gold Card and SMSTS certification.
- Full UK driving license.
