They are looking for an experienced Battery Box Project Manager to join our dynamic team and help drive the delivery of cutting-edge energy storage projects.
About the Role:
As Battery Box Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of Battery Box projects nationwide. You’ll oversee projects from concept through to energisation, ensuring safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction at every stage. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within the business operating within the renewable and smart infrastructure sectors. You’ll play a key role in coordinating teams, liaising with DNOs/iDNOs, and ensuring works are delivered efficiently to specification and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of Battery Box projects, from design to commissioning.
- Coordinate with DNOs and iDNOs to ensure grid connection requirements are met.
- Oversee electrical installation and testing activities in line with the 18th Edition and relevant standards.
- Plan and manage streetworks activities, ensuring compliance with permits and legislation.
- Lead project teams, manage subcontractors, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ensure projects meet health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Provide regular reporting on project progress, budgets, and risks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing utility or electrical infrastructure projects.
- Strong working knowledge of DNO and iDNO processes.
- 18th Edition Electrical qualification (preferable).
- Valid Streetworks Supervisor (NRSWA) qualification.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to deadlines.
Desirable:
- Experience in battery storage or renewable energy projects.
- SSSTS/SMSTS or similar site management qualification.
- Experience working with ICPs or LV/HV networks.
