Anderson Knight Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with one of our key clients, a globally renowned facilities management business, to recruit an Accounts Payable Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and driven finance professional to take ownership of a high-volume AP function, lead a growing team, and play a key role in supporting ongoing finance transformation across the organisation.

As Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, ensuring efficient processing, strong controls, and continuous improvement across both UK and offshore teams. You will be based in the Glasgow office, where you will lead and develop a local AP team while also providing supervision, guidance, and support to an overseas shared service team. This is a highly visible role within a business currently undergoing significant transformation and process standardisation, offering the opportunity to shape future ways of working, improve systems and controls, and drive operational excellence within the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments
  • Supervise, support, and develop the Glasgow-based AP team, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Provide oversight and direction to an offshore/overseas AP team to ensure consistent standards and service
