Overview
We are looking for a highly organised, discreet, proactive and creative Personal Assistant to support a private individual focused on the environment, landscape, ecology and sustainability.
This is a part-time position based in Canterbury, Kent, requiring roughly 15β20 hours per week.
Hybrid working, part based in a private home and part remote working, is encouraged.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage diaries, tasks, reminders and day-to-day coordination.
- Create environmental comments, social media posts, newsletter entries and reports for meetings.
- Manage and promote website content and social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram), including content creation using Canva.
- Coordinate meetings, occasional travel and event-related activity.
- Organise online filing and provide general administrative support.
- Assist with personal errands where required.
- Provide proactive support and timely reminders.
- Handle confidential and sensitive correspondence with discretion.
Skills required for the role
- Strong social media skills and picture-editing ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, creative and writing skills.
- Fluent ability in Word, Canva and Excel.
- Highly organised and efficient.
- IT skills are necessary, although support is accessible.
- Experience in PR, content curation, Mailchimp or similar would be an advantage.
