We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Winchester to recruit an Admin Assistant to join their busy school office. This Admin Assistant role offers a varied workload across pastoral support, trips and activities, and student data management. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Admin Assistant looking for a structured, term-time role with flexibility around working hours.
The Admin Assistant role includes:
- Supporting pastoral admin, trips, lettings and wider school office functions
- Managing and updating student data using systems such as Arbor
- Handling emails, queries and internal communications
- Using Excel and other systems for data reporting and analysis
- Providing general admin support across the school
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a school or similar admin environment
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Confident IT user (Excel, Word, databases such as Arbor or similar)
- Ability to work under pressure and use initiative
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player with a positive attitude and sense of humour
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Working hours:
Monday-Thursday: 8:25am - 3:55pm
Friday: 8:25am - 2:55pm (Flexibility available for the right candidate)
