Location: London, Canary Wharf (hybrid, minimum 50% office based)

Contract: Fixed term, minimum 5 months, likely to extend

Salary: £70,000 to £90,000 depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, core hours 9.30am to 5.30pm

A leading global law firm is seeking an experienced in-house Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its Experienced Hire team on a fixed term contract. Reporting into the Head of Experienced Hire Talent Acquisition, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for your aligned practice areas and business functions. You will partner closely with hiring managers and Partners to understand current and future resourcing needs, then deliver against them through direct sourcing, talent pipelining and a best practice recruitment process. This is a true end to end role in a competitive, fast moving market.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the end to end recruitment process for your aligned client groups, ensuring excellent service delivery
  • Partner with leadership teams and hiring managers to identify and shape current and future resourcing needs
  • Build talent pools and candidate pipelines through direct sourcing, social platforms, networking and market mapping
  • Provide market insight and recruitment trends to inform talent planning and organisational decisions
  • Coach and guide Partners and hiring managers on attraction, assessment and candidate management
  • Interview alongside hiring managers and apply appropriate assessment tools
  • Champion inclusive recruitment practices throughout the hiring process
  • Manage third party agency relationships where required

Requirements

  • UK recruitment experience gained within a law firm, partnership environment or financial services
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders, including Partners
  • Strong direct sourcing skills using e-recruitment tools, social platforms, networking and market mapping
  • Experience interviewing candidates and administering assessments
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines under pressure
