Do you love keeping things running smoothly, supporting people and creating a workplace where everyone enjoys coming in? If you’re ultra-organised, people-focused and happiest when everything’s ticking along nicely, this could be your perfect role.
Our client is looking for a brilliant Practice Manager to take the lead on day-to-day operations, facilities, health & safety and admin across their offices – with the main base in their central London office N1, just a 5-minute walk from Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria line stations, plus Overground links.
What’s the role all about?
You’ll be the go-to person who keeps the office (and offices) running like clockwork. From managing the admin support team and organising workloads, to overseeing facilities, suppliers, budgets and health & safety, you’ll be right at the heart of the business. This is a hands-on, office-based role, working 5 days a week (with some flexibility around the standard 9:00–5:30 hours).
What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Leading and supporting the Admin Support Team
- Making sure the office is a safe, welcoming and well-run place to work
- Overseeing facilities, maintenance, contractors and suppliers
- Managing office moves, layouts, furniture, equipment and improvements
- Handling building security and liaising with external partners
- Setting and managing the admin budget and processing invoices
- Organising management, board, sustainability and H&S meetings
- Supporting wellbeing check-ins and contributing to a positive culture
On the Health & Safety side, you’ll also:
- Support the H&S Director and act as cover when needed
- Keep policies up to date with current legislation
- Manage risk assessments, fire drills, first aid training and incident reporting
Why you’ll love it here:
- A great N1 London location with excellent transport links
- A varied role with genuine ownership and impact
- A supportive and collaborative environment that takes wellbeing seriously
If you enjoy being the person behind the scenes who makes everything work better, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now and help create an office people enjoy coming to every day.
This role is open only to candidates with existing, unrestricted, and permanent right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not offered under any circumstances.
Requirements:
What we’re looking for:
- Solid organisational and communication skills gained within a UK SME environment
- Confidence managing people, priorities and busy workloads
- A calm, practical and proactive approach
- Solid IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
- 5 years plus experience in office, practice or operations management within an SME environment
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience are welcome — what really matters is your ability to run a great office and support a great team.
