Our client, a global corporate firm, is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor to join their team on a 13 month fixed term contract. This is a hybrid role based in central Newcastle, and our client is genuinely open to both full time and part time applicants (part time would be 4 days per week).

You’ll work closely with the Senior HRBP, supporting the cyclical HR processes that they typically lead, while also managing your own day to day operational HR matters and project work. You’ll partner directly with Operations Managers and Managing Paralegals, so strong stakeholder management skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing a high level of support and guidance to the business
  • Managing sickness absence cases
  • Handling employee relations matters
  • Managing capability cases
  • Supporting neurodivergence related matters
  • Broad generalist HR experience

In addition, you will:

  • Work with exit data and general performance data
  • Bring data analysis skills to support decision making (desirable)
  • Collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Balance operational HR work with project delivery
About You:

You will have a proven track record of developing and implementing some HR initiatives that have demonstrably contributed to business objectives and enhanced overall performance within a large corporate organisation. You will have flexible and effective communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. You will be an experienced HR Manager, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor ideally with a background in professional services. Experience working in a matrixed or global environment is desirable. You will have operational HR experience and are now looking for a role that combines operational delivery with strategic input. You will have experience partnering with and influencing management teams, working collaboratively with key stakeholders to create joint expectations and deliverables, and engaging others to achieve positive results. You will demonstrate strong commercial awareness throughout your work. Ideally you will have worked within a large company.

Qualifications:

CIPD qualified or equivalent is desirable.

Benefits:

£54,300 full time equivalent. Benefits are generous plus a bonus.
