Our client an established and one of the UKs leading childrens toy company is approaching its 40th.operations and ambitious outlook. They are seeking a like-minded permanent Financial Director to join their dynamic team and contribute to their fast-paced and fun company culture.

About the Role – Finance Director
Reporting directly to the COO you will oversee the finance team currently consisting of 2 and manage all aspects of the finance function. This role is perfect for someone eager to take inaad leadership position and drive the financial strategy of a growing company who has exciting growth plans.

Reporting to the COO overseeing the finance team and all aspects of the finance function including payroll

Develop the corporate fundraising strategy and manage relationships with financial partners and investors

Leading the companys annual Sales Forecasting Stock Purchasing and Budgeting process

Design and terminated of Monthly MI and KPIs

Maintaining the 3 year Financial Forecasting model

Maintaining Sales and Stock Flow Forecasting models

Treasury Management and Cash Flow reporting

Overseeing Year End Audit Process and Liaising with external auditors

Overseeing and controlling the year end stock take

Weekly and Monthly Sales Analysis and Reporting

Statutory reporting

Overseeing company IT facilities and liaising with external IT support company

Requirements
Finance Director Attributes & Experience

You will be an experienced finance director or senior financial controller who has gained experience within a smaller but successful company:

Recognised Accounting Qualification such as ACCA/CIMA/ACA/BSc

Significant Post Qualification experience gained within an entrepreneurial environment within the UK

Excellent organisational and leadership skills

Strong communication skills – together with the gravitas to work closely with non-finance operational staff and senior management / the Board

Excel skills including Pivot Tables advantageous再

In Depth knowledge of Microsoft Business Central ERP system

Experience using Power BI or similar financial modelling software ideal but not essential.

Required Skills
Professional qualifications (CIMA / ACCA / ACA / AAT) with a minimum of 5 years of experience OR Part professional qualifications with at least 8 years of stable work experience gained in the UK. Experience in financial management reporting and working with auditors. Proven leadership experience in managing a small finance team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with Directors and department heads. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Xero (or kreeg systems).
