We are an established building services consultancy delivering high-quality mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) designs across commercial, residential, healthcare, and infrastructure projects. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced MEP BIM Coordinator to join our digital engineering team.
The MEP BIM Coordinator will be responsible for developing and coordinating Building Information Models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure accurate and coordinated models throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain MEP models in Revit for mechanical, electrical, and public health systems
- Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural models
- Perform clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks
- Produce coordinated drawings, layouts, and schedules from BIM models
- Ensure models comply with BIM standards and project BIM Execution Plans (BEP)
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve model clashes
- Maintain BIM libraries, templates, and families for MEP components
- Support engineers and design teams with BIM workflows and modelling standards
- Proven experience working with MEP BIM modelling
- Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit for MEP services
- Experience using Autodesk Navisworks for clash detection and coordination
- Understanding of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing layouts
- Familiarity with AutoCAD drawings and construction documentation
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud or Autodesk BIM 360
- Knowledge of BIM standards such as ISO 19650
- Experience with Dynamo scripting for BIM automation
- Experience working on UK building services projects
- Degree or diploma in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Architectural Technology OR Relevant industry experience in MEP BIM coordination
