Technical Services ManagerWe’re proud to be partnering with a leading property management company to recruit a Technical Services Manager for one of the East Midlands’ flagship retail and leisure destinations.This is a pivotal opportunity for a hands-on technical professional to take ownership of all hard services, compliance, and engineering functions at a high-performing, customer-focused shopping centre.The opportunity:Lead all technical and M&E operations across a large, complex retail assetManage statutory compliance, maintenance, energy performance, and life cycle planningOversee a mix of internal and outsourced maintenance teams and service partnersSupport multi-million-pound refurbishment and landlord projects (£500k-£4m+)Act as the site lead for health and safety, risk management, and building systems (BMS/CAFM)Collaborate closely with the Head of Operations, the client, and senior stakeholders to deliver service excellence and operational innovationWe’re looking for someone who:Holds a relevant engineering qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent)Brings proven experience managing hard services and technical compliance within a large, customer-facing environment (retail, leisure, airports, or commercial estates)Is confident managing contractors, budgets, and technical projectsPossesses strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and drive high standardsIdeally holds NEBOSH or IOSH certification and understands energy and ESG best practiceWhy this role:You’ll join a supportive, high-performing property management team that takes pride in maintaining one of the region’s leading retail environments.
