Our client is growing fast and looking for a commercially sharp, technically credible Senior BDM to help lead that charge. This isn't a generic sales role - it's a genuine opportunity to shape how a specialist data centre business wins and grows major accounts across hyperscale, colocation, enterprise and edge markets.
You'll be selling across a broad and compelling portfolio: Technology Services, Modular Data Centres, Facilities Management and MEP solutions - working closely with engineering and delivery teams to bring complex, high-value solutions to life.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Driving new business across hyperscale, colo, enterprise and edge clients
- Building and managing a strong pipeline with real commercial momentum
- Leading client meetings, workshops and technical presentations at senior level
- Developing account strategies, bids and proposals that win
- Translating client needs into technically sound, commercially competitive solutions
- Staying ahead of market trends - modular, edge, sustainability, ESG
- Feeding insight back to leadership to influence product and go-to-market strategy
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years in Business Development or Account Management within data centres, critical infrastructure, MEP, FM, or technology services
- Strong technical understanding of data centre environments - power, cooling, white space, MEP, modular/prefab solutions
- Proven experience selling to hyperscale cloud providers or large colo operators
- Existing relationships across the data centre ecosystem - end users, consultants & contractors
- Comfortable managing long sales cycles and complex, multi-disciplinary bids
- Sharp communicator, equally at home in a boardroom or a technical workshop
