Marketing Manager – Shopping Centre
📍 Location: Preston | Full-time, Onsite (37 hours/week)

We’re working with a leading retail destination in Preston to recruit a Marketing Manager who will take full ownership of the centre’s marketing activity, driving footfall, increasing dwell time, and enhancing the visitor experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic management team and play a pivotal role in shaping the perception and performance of a busy, fully let shopping centre with a mix of national retailers and thriving independents.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Marketing: Develop and deliver an insight-led marketing strategy, managing the budget and reporting on performance.
- Campaigns & Events: Curate and implement seasonal campaigns, competitions, and activations to engage visitors and boost loyalty.
- Digital Marketing: Manage social media, website content, and SEO to strengthen online presence.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with retailers, local organisations, and external partners to amplify the centre’s visibility.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyse campaign ROI, footfall, sales trends, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
- Car Park Promotion: Drive awareness and usage of the centre’s parking facilities through targeted marketing activity.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a marketing role – ideally in retail, leisure, or destination marketing.
- Strong balance of creativity and commercial acumen.
- Excellent digital marketing and content creation skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and results-driven.
Working Pattern
- Full-time, site-based role (37 hours per week).
- Occasional weekend and evening work required in line with the marketing calendar.
