We are working with one of the UK’s leading retail and leisure destinations to appoint an Estate Manager into a senior on-site leadership role. This is a flagship asset with significant scale, including a major retail and leisure environment, extensive external areas, car parks, landscaping, public realm, lakes and ongoing estate investment.
This is not a purely technical FM role. It is an overarching estate leadership opportunity, focused on standards, service partners, major projects, guest experience and long-term estate strategy.
As Estate Manager, you will work closely with the Centre Director and wider leadership team to ensure the destination operates safely, efficiently and to consistently high standards. You will oversee service partner performance across hard services, soft services and landscaping, while also supporting major lifecycle projects, estate planning, compliance, guest experience and wider asset improvement.
You will need to bring fresh thinking, challenge existing ways of working and help shape how the estate continues to evolve over the coming years.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Has led operations across a large, complex, customer-facing environment
- Brings strong operational oversight rather than purely technical FM expertise
- Can manage service partners, contractors and senior stakeholders confidently
- Has experience supporting major projects in a live environment
- Understands how estate standards impact guest experience and commercial performance
- Can think strategically, but is still hands-on enough to drive action
- May come from retail property, mixed-use, major venues, airports, transport, visitor attractions, public realm or similar destination environments
Why Join?
- Opportunity to join one of the UK’s most recognised destination assets
- Senior on-site leadership role with genuine visibility and influence
- Broader estate remit than a traditional shopping centre operations role
- Chance to shape standards, projects and long-term estate strategy
- Salary up to £80,000 + bonus potential up to 30% + wider benefits
