Are you currently leading hard services within a complex, customer-facing environment and ready for your next challenge? We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to take ownership of all hard services, compliance and capital project delivery within a large, high-profile, live commercial asset. This is not a desk-based facilities role. It requires visible, hands-on technical leadership within a multi-plant environment operating under constant operational demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all M&E service delivery and contractor performance
- Ensure full statutory compliance and audit readiness
- Oversee capital projects ranging from £500k to multi-million-pound schemes
- Manage occupier fit-outs and provide technical sign-off
- Develop and manage lifecycle planning and departmental budgets
- Lead and support the on-site technical team
- Act as Duty Manager on a rota basis
You will act as the technical authority on site - confident, decisive and commercially aware.
About You
This role would suit candidates currently operating within:
- Commercial property or mixed-use estates
- Large leisure or entertainment venues
- Hospitality environments
- Airports, healthcare or other high-footfall public buildings
- Shopping Centres
You will bring:
- ONC / HNC Engineering qualification (or equivalent)
- NEBOSH or similar health & safety qualification
- Strong contractor and KPI management experience
- Proven experience delivering projects in live environments
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders
Technical competence is essential, but so is attitude, ownership and the ability to integrate into a high-performing senior team.
