We are supporting a growing retail destination marketing agency on the appointment of a Growth Director to lead new business across the UK and Europe. This is a senior, commercially focused role aimed at strengthening relationships with asset managers, investors and owners of shopping centres, outlets and mixed‑use destinations. The business is well established, entrepreneurial in mindset, and currently experiencing strong growth. The board sees new business as a key strategic priority and is looking for someone who can bring structure, credibility and momentum to that agenda.
The Role
- Developing and executing a targeted growth strategy focused on retail real estate clients
- Building and maintaining relationships with senior decision‑makers across asset management and investment
- Leading the full sales cycle — from first conversation through to proposal and close
- Positioning the agency’s services in a commercially relevant way, aligned to asset performance and value
- Representing the business at key industry events and within established networks
- Managing pipeline reporting and forecasting with clear accountability for revenue delivery
This role sits close to the board and will work collaboratively with senior practitioners across strategy and client services.
The Profile
We are looking for an experienced, well‑networked individual with a background in one of the following:
- Business development or commercial leadership within a retail property, placemaking or marketing services environment
- Advisory or consultancy roles selling into landlords, investors or asset managers
- Senior agency roles with demonstrable responsibility for revenue generation
You should be comfortable operating at C‑suite level, commercially literate (NOI, asset value, performance metrics) and motivated by building long‑term client relationships.
Package
The remuneration reflects the commercial nature of the role:
- £80,000-£100,000 base salary (flexible for the right individual)
- Performance bonus and percentage of gross profit OTE £160k-£200k+
- Hybrid working model
- European travel as required
