As Cleaning Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape and implement your own legacy, driving service excellence and supporting a centre that is pivotal to Leicester’s community and retail landscape.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading the delivery of all cleaning operations across the 1.2 million sq ft shopping centre.
• Managing and developing a team of cleaning operatives to deliver high standards of presentation and hygiene in line with occupier and visitor expectations.
• Collaborating with the Head of Operations and Centre Director to align cleaning strategies with the wider transformational goals of the asset.
• Driving continuous improvement, introducing efficient and sustainable cleaning practices while managing costs effectively.
• Monitoring contractor performance, ensuring adherence to KPIs and health & safety standards.
• Supporting the delivery of ESG objectives, including waste management and sustainability initiatives across the centre.
• Being a visible presence on the mall, engaging with tenants, visitors, and your team to enhance the customer experience.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experienced cleaning manager or supervisor within a large-scale retail, hospitality, or commercial environment.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop on-site teams while maintaining high standards.
• Strong understanding of cleaning contracts, performance management, and quality control processes.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset, capable of implementing change and driving improvement.
• Passion for delivering high standards in a customer-focused environment.
• Comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders and working collaboratively within a large operational team.
