Project Manager - Substation Construction

About the Role:\\nWe are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Manager to lead the construction of a substation for a solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Leeds. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery, ensuring the substation is built to specification and connected to the grid.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Manage and oversee the construction of a substation for solar and BESS projects, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.\\n\\n * Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.\\n\\n * Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines, ensuring milestones are met.\\n\\n * Coordinate all aspects of the grid connection process, ensuring seamless integration with the existing infrastructure.\\n\\n * Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project.\\n\\n * Monitor and control project progress, managing risks, changes, and issues as they arise.\\n\\n * Maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors, providing regular project updates and reports.\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n * Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction of substations, preferably for solar or BESS projects.\\n\\n * Strong understanding of grid connections, ICP works, and substation construction.\\n\\n * Demonstrated experience managing large-scale electrical infrastructure projects.\\n\\n * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.\\n\\n * Experience with project management software and tools.\\n\\n * Health and safety management experience (SMSTS or equivalent certification preferred).\\n\\nWhat We Offer:\\n\\n * Competitive salary and benefits package.\\n\\n * Opportunity to manage exciting renewable energy projects and make an impact in the clean energy sector.\\n\\n * A dynamic and supportive work environment with opportunities for career development.\\n\\nWe look forward to hearing from you
