About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager - Rent & Service Charges to join our Finance & Procurement Team. You will lead an effective rent and service charge service, working collaboratively with key business areas. This role will require you to provide insightful financial analysis, manage budgets and forecasts, and support strategic decision-making across the organisation. You will be a key influencer, driving business improvements and ensuring robust financial practices are in place.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the forecasting and budget process for rents and service charges, delivering insightful analysis and performance reporting.
- Support strategic decision-making by partnering with senior managers and directors, providing key financial insights.
- Monitor external environments to advise on key risks and impacts.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial data integrity and business efficiencies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, delivering financial training where needed.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for rent and service charge setting.
- Manage service charge improvement projects and implement process enhancements.
- Oversee budget management and forecasting, ensuring accuracy in reporting and analysis.
- Handle customer queries and complaints related to rents and service charges professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure financial system development supports business growth and compliance.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Completed or be actively studying towards a full accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience in rent and service charge legislation, budget preparation, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders confidently.
- A proactive approach to identifying business improvements and enhancing data integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel for advanced data analysis.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and mentor team members effectively.
