Andersen James is working with a regional Housing Association based in Chester, as they look to recruit a DMC & Disrepair Surveyor. The role will be responsible for damp and mould surveys and disrepair cases across their Northern housing stock.

We're looking for candidates with:

  • Relevant building surveying, maintenance or construction management qualification and/or equivalent experience
  • A strong surveying background, ideally within social housing
  • Ideally damp, mould and disrepair experience. However, the client is happy to develop candidates in these areas - excellent development opportunity for surveyors starting out their career!

In return, the client will give the following:

  • Generous salary plus car allowance
  • 35 hour working week
  • Generous annual leave allowance (25 days increasing to 28 after 4 years’ service)
  • Flexible/agile working
  • Enhanced maternity, adoption & paternity pay
