SUMMARY:
We are looking for an Regional Marketing Manager – Events & Retail to join our Boston leadership team! They will be leading and coaching a team of marketing representatives, and helping the team improve performance. This role is responsible for driving non-media lead generation and brand awareness locally through in-person experiential marketing.
Please note: this position has a significant weekend work requirement. A minimum of 40 partial or full weekends per year. And requires travel throughout the service area: Southern NH, Central Mass, Southwest Mass.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new team members.
- In-field coaching.
- Manages department calendar – includes negotiating with event sponsors and outside vendors to procure space for events.
- Oversees participation in events, sponsorship, retail partnerships and creation of lead-gen opportunities.
- Expense and P&L management of Events & Showroom; controls spend within budget.
- Collaborates with internal partners such as Sales, Inside Sales, Talent Acquisition, HR & Finance
- Communicates results and strategy with management.
DIRECTION OF OTHERS:
* Provides guidance, training, and work direction to Retail Marketing Reps.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications preferred or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities.
* Some experience in sales/marketing, planning events and/or managing sales/retail teams.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to think strategically, with strong project management skills, including attention to detail
* Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $55,994-$86,791 plus incentives. Average earners can expect to make $95,000-$165,000
