My client are seeking a proactive Service Coordinator to support the daily operations of their Service Department. This role involves working closely with Mechanical, Electrical, and Fire & Security service teams to coordinate service activities Planned and Reactive, manage documentation, schedule engineers, and ensure customers receive a professional and efficient service.
The position requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include handling customer enquiries, processing service requests, maintaining certification records, issuing reports and certificates, and liaising with engineers, customers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks within the Service Department
- Handle incoming telephone calls and respond to customer enquiries
- Process service requests and raise jobs accurately within the job management system
- Schedule and coordinate service appointments for engineers
- Review engineers reports for accuracy before issuing to customers
- Maintain certification records and ensure proper documentation storage
- Issue service reports and certificates promptly
- Chase outstanding information from engineers, customers, and subcontractors
- Upload material costs and maintain accurate job records
- Provide service updates and communicate effectively with customers
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role
