We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Operative - Slinger/Signaller to join our team on a civil engineering project. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring lifting operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Slinger/Signaller for all lifting operations involving cranes and lifting equipment
- Safely select, inspect, attach, and detach lifting accessories in line with lifting plans
- Direct crane and plant operators using recognised hand signals and/or radio communication
- Ensure loads are balanced, stable, and safely guided during lifting and placing operations
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- CPCS Slinger/Signaller ticket - valid and in date
- EUSR
