We are currently recruiting for a Site Fuel Controller to work on a busy industrial site at Shotton Paper Mill, Deeside. This role will involve overseeing and recording diesel deliveries on site. The successful candidate will not be physically distributing fuel, but will be responsible for supervising deliveries, ensuring accurate records are kept, and maintaining safe working practices during refuelling operations.
Duties will include:
- Attending site when diesel deliveries arrive
- Supervising fuel distribution to plant and bowsers
- Recording quantities delivered and allocated
- Completing and maintaining delivery logs and site paperwork
- Liaising with delivery drivers and site management
- Ensuring environmental and safety procedures are followed
- Monitoring for spills and ensuring correct spill response procedures are adhered to
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card
- Previous experience working on industrial or heavy plant sites
- Good understanding of site health and safety
- Confident dealing with delivery drivers and site teams
- Comfortable completing paperwork accurately
Desirable:
- Environmental awareness or spill response training
- COSHH awareness
- First Aid
- Experience working around plant refuelling operations
