My client is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager to join them on a permanent basis based in Leeds. The successful candidate will assist the Project Manager in leading a £100m residential mixed-use development project in Leeds. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing all daily site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to impeccable quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, including scheduling and resource allocation.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any challenges swiftly.
- Maintain clear communication and alignment between project stakeholders, such as clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Inspire and lead on-site teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all work meets project specifications and industry standards.
- Oversee site documentation, including permits, drawings, and progress reports.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement best practices to drive site performance.
Experience and qualifications
- Proven track record as a Senior Site Manager within the construction industry.
- Experience of RC Frame, façade/envelope and external packages.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and best practices.
- Skilled in package management and sub-contractor management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Relevant qualifications and certifications SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid.
