Our client is looking for an ADT Operator in the Sandy, Bedfordshire area, to complete a contract until the end of the year within the Aggregates sector, working on a Sand and Gravel Quarry. This is a contract until the end of the year, but there is possibility of extension and further work in 2026.
Successful candidates will have previously worked as an ADT Operator / ADT Driver, transporting materials safely and efficiently, in a similar working environment across Aggregates, Quarries or Construction sites, and will hold a valid in date ADT Licence. Candidates who hold a Loading Shovel Licence are advantageous also.
Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Operating ADT’s (Articulated Dump Trucks) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Transporting materials.
- Loading and unloading materials as required.
- Performing routine maintenance checks on the machine.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
- Reporting any issues or faults promptly.
- Working with the Operations team to help ensure smooth operation on the quarry.
Candidates will ideally:
- Hold a valid CPCS for operation of ADT (OR similar licence).
- Hold a valid MP Connect Card (Or be happy to register with MPC).
- Have previous experience operating ADT's in a busy environment, such as on a Quarry.
- Have an understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Be punctual, reliable with good communication skills.
- Holding a Loading Shovel Licence is also advantageous.
