We are currently recruiting an experienced Quality Inspector for a 6-month contract based in Huddersfield, supporting local infrastructure and construction works. This role would suit someone with a hands-on technical background, ideally with a few years' experience as a Quality Engineer or similar, rather than a purely supervisory profile.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and assure quality across concrete, steel works, and earthworks
- Review and analyse drawings, specifications, and relevant industry standards
- Produce clear, accurate inspection and quality reports
- Identify non-conformances, required changes, and opportunities for improvement
- Provide clear, practical feedback to the project and site teams
- Maintain accurate records using standard computer systems
